.5/23/2008 5:11:00 PMThanks, Jack. Looks good. I don't know where some of the concepts came from (i.e. hot tub), but still very interesting.
.5/26/2008 11:58:00 AMAs a fairly new member, I am very pleased with the club overall. However, I feel strongly that the pools should be a top priority. The big pool should be heated, there should be separate diving pool, and private lessons should be held on Sunday mornings or some other time when pool usage is low. The private lessons take up too much space from adult lap swimmers and kids just wanting to play in the water. THANK YOU.
.5/28/2008 8:11:00 PMThe senior staff is not welcoming of new members. Too much priority on swim team at expense of other members.
.5/31/2008 4:23:00 PMBring back the snack machines!
.5/31/2008 4:32:00 PMi think the staff is great and really contribute to the cleanliness of the club and they are wonderful influences! :-)
.5/31/2008 4:44:00 PMI think the club is already a satisfying environment. I also would like to say that I appreciate the staff's efforts to keep this club safe, clean and in tact. It really wouldn't be as good of an environment without them.
.5/31/2008 4:58:00 PMI am very impressed with the quality of the staff and the upkeep of the facilities by the said staff.
.6/2/2008 11:43:00 PMlarger famlilies should pay more than families with one child
.6/3/2008 1:53:00 AMI like some of the ideas that have been suggested, I wonder whether the area can support another indoor club since I already belong to Westford Swim and Tennnis and they are certainly not full. I like the idea of better locker rooms and some functional space, however, the idea of an underutilized room does not make sense. There are plenty of them in town.
.6/4/2008 8:56:00 PMthe new e-mail list to notifiy memebers of changes and events is great.਀ my kids love the staff, they are great role models for them.਀ Mangagement seems very committed to keeping the place clean and safe for everyone਀ board meetings should be open to memebers if they so choose to attend.
.6/4/2008 10:08:00 PMi think the staff is wonderful and a great influence on my children. My kids really enjoy coming to the pool and seeing their role models. I don't think they get as much credit as they deserve! :-)
.6/5/2008 2:31:00 PMWhen making the swim meet schedule, is there a possibility of not having it so soon after school gets out? There are many conflicts with baseball/softball playoffs that first swim meet.
.6/11/2008 12:24:00 AMA large readable clock on the baby-pool side of the building is much needed. Since the pool is not guarded, I don't feel comfortable (nor should I) leaving my children to go around the building to see the very small lettered clock by the door.਀ I think that enclosing the pool and tennis courts would destroy the character of the club in the summertime. There are indoor pool options nearby and I don't think we should destroy our outdoor pool atmosphere to just provide another indoor pool.਀ I would like to see more shade options, specifically around the baby pool.
.6/13/2008 6:09:00 PMI am glad that my family participates at CS&T however, I feel that evening swim/tennis lessons for those families where both parents work (like mine) are very necessary.
.6/18/2008 6:47:00 PMWe have to keep dues affordable and not just for the wealthy like some clubs. Summer and winter memberships should be separate. I'd rather give most things up then keep on going up in price. Therefore, fundraising is best choice.
.6/20/2008 11:39:00 AMGreat idea to do this survey.
.6/28/2008 2:45:00 PMFor all of your work...thank you.
.6/28/2008 8:19:00 PMI don't see enough coaching going on during swim team practice. I used to see the coaches offering feedback as the swimmers worked - some staff even pulled swimmers out to show them proper technique. Now, one or two staff members stay with their lane, while the rest cluster around the diving board and talk. Where have all the coaches gone?
.6/29/2008 3:01:00 PMThsanks for working on this...it will be a great benefit for the club
.6/29/2008 7:18:00 PMI think members need to think about what a function hall would mean to the club. There are many details that I are probably not being considered by all. The costs that would go along with it would out way the benefits of having it for a 3 month period. I also think it would take away from the purpose of a summer swim club. It is not a golf club.
.7/2/2008 11:12:00 PMThe bathrooms have been very dirty. the bathrooms need to be checked every hour when it is busy. The paper towel holder needs to be fixed and a soap despenser need to be put by the sinks. Most days the small containers of soap are empty. The floors and toliets need to be cleaned with bleach more then once a day.
.7/6/2008 12:47:00 PMBathrooms are filthy! Can we give up the "guards earning their stripes?" Why not hire a local cleaning service (support local bus) to thoroughly clean nightly and guards maintain during the day? Teenagers aren't interested in cleaning and it is embarraasing to bring guests. I have to say Chuck Woods kept on top of everything and it showed!
.7/6/2008 11:04:00 PMWas the first survey the one done last year or was there another one this year? I wasn't sure how to answer #23 because I wasn't aware there was a prior survey this year but did fill out the one last year. That question is unclear.
.7/7/2008 1:24:00 PMEnjoy the extremely positive social aspect for my two children and to be able to extend this year-round is one we would support in word and financially. Tennis being a bigger priority as we are not swimmers but certainly enjoy the meets and the ability to cool off on a hot day!
.7/7/2008 11:57:00 PMOn going issue is tidiness of the club. The bathrooms are a perennial issue, the lawn is NEVER mowed, and now you've gone and built a condo for the guards with Air conditioning?!?!!? AND outfitted them with new attire for every weather possiblitity. I'd like to see a breakdown of where our dues dollars go to.
.7/8/2008 2:20:00 AMVarious fund raising such as a swim meet for both adults and children.਀ Golf tournament/Mini Golf Tournament(whole Family participation)
.7/10/2008 1:13:00 AMcs& t is a wonderful place for families - I'd like to see changes made slowly.
.7/11/2008 2:58:00 AMIf the club wants to step up the the next level, the staff needs to treat its members and the club facilities more professionally and not act like a high school retreat
.7/11/2008 3:06:00 AMWe're were happy to see the new additions and changes to the management team. However, some of them are still unapproachable.
.7/16/2008 12:51:00 PMA "town meeting" offered at perhaps two different times would be helpful to allow members to discuss their concerns and any issues. The changes outlined in this survey should be carefully planned. A task force should be put together representing various constituencies of the club making use that there is representation for all areas.
.7/26/2008 9:24:00 PMmaintenance crew does an amazing job
.8/10/2008 3:23:00 PMI wish that the pool was available all day, every day. It is hard for families with children not on the swim team to be able to utilize the pool except after noontime. If a portion of the pool could be left open for those children, it would allow us to utilize the pool for many more hours.
.9/2/2008 2:50:00 PMMany teen members ride their bikes to CS&T. Is the club planning to coninue some type of access to the rail trail from their parking lot? This would be much safer for the younger bike riders than riding on the roads.
