Chelmsford Swim & Tennis is a non-profit, member owned and operated organization. Membership is limited to 215 families which ensures ample access to the facilities for all members. Our Pool opens Memorial Day Weekend and closes Labor Day. The Tennis courts are open early spring to mid fall. 

CS&T was established in 1965 by a group of residents who were swimming and tennis enthusiasts. After much planning, "pooling" of their resources, and loans, they purchased 18 acres of land on Robin Hill Rd. A swimming pool, wading pool, tennis courts and clubhouse were built, and CS&T was born.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse contains our changing areas, showers and restroom facilities. Our reception area is the central foyer area leading from the parking lot to the pool. A central message bulletin board is used here to post club happenings. A trophy case is also present, proudly displaying all of our accomplishments.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool, home to the 20 time defending Colonial League champions, is an "L" shaped swimming pool with a 75' x 35' competitive swimming area and a one meter diving board. During swim meets, this area is separated into 6 lanes with a starting block at the deep (10') end of each lane. At all other times, one lane is left for lap swimming while the rest of the area is left open for recreational swimming and diving. The non-competitive area of the pool is always roped-off and is from 2-1/2' to 4' deep.

The pool is open daily from 9:00AM until 8:00PM from Memorial Day thru approximately Labor Day (depends on local school schedule) except for weekdays from Memorial Day until school lets out. On those days, the pool opens at 1:00 PM. Throughout the summer, swim team practice and lessons run from Monday to Friday 9:00AM to Noon.

Wading Pool
The younger set can enjoy a separate, fenced-in 30' x 15' wading pool (about 1' deep in the middle). A great place for the toddlers to cool off and practice their first swimming strokes (or for Mom and Dad to keep their feet cool!).

Tennis Courts
The tennis courts feature four clay tennis courts and two composition tennis courts with lights. The clay courts are swept, rolled and watered daily. The tennis courts are open from mid-April until early November.

Playing Field
A grass field by the side of the pool is available for any number of outdoor activities including stickball, frisbee, volleyball, etc.

Picnic Tables and Barbeques
Picnic tables are available at various spots around the pool some in the grassy areas and some located under the shaded area on the pool deck. Gas grills are available free of charge to members any time the pool is open, so you don't even have to leave the club to eat!
